Radical Democrat Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York participated in a media event where she criticized House Republicans for calling Hunter Biden to testify, accusing them of an “abuse of public power.” Hunter was summoned for a closed-door deposition as part of the House impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. Members of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees wanted to question Hunter about his father’s alleged involvement in their family’s foreign influence peddling and bribery activities. While Hunter was testifying, AOC and other controversial Democrats spoke to the press in an attempt to undermine the allegations against the Bidens.

Standing alongside Representatives Eric Swalwell from California and Jamie Raskin from Maryland, AOC condemned House Republicans for questioning the son of the establishment Democrat president. Nevertheless, AOC’s unwavering support for Hunter only served to emphasize her shift in political stance, transitioning from a radical leftist to a defender of the elitist Bidens within the Washington D.C. establishment.

“What we just witnessed over the last hour was, I think, a deep sea fishing expedition,” the Democrat congresswoman alleged, without providing evidence to support her claims.

“The Republican case has completely fallen apart over the last several weeks.”

Hunter plays a crucial role as a witness in the impeachment inquiry concerning President Biden. President Biden has repeatedly denied any involvement in his family’s business affairs on at least nine occasions.

During the House investigation, a complex network of wire transfers, 20 shell companies, and individuals associated with the Biden business was uncovered. This network enabled the Biden family to accumulate a minimum of $24 million from foreign nationals over a span of approximately five years.

Various witnesses have come forward, alleging that the Biden family received substantial bribes from foreign oligarchs.

“They [Republicans] are now trying to scramble to find anything to substantiate their fairytale — is what we should call this,” AOC alleged.

“But I think, more disturbingly, what we are seeing is just a complete and inappropriate expedition into the president’s son and for matters in subjects that are completely unrelated to an impeachment investigation.”

“And I think it is extremely disturbing to see the lack of professionalism [and] the lack of grounding and the abuse of public resources and abuse of public power in order to pursue something that truly, whose points at this juncture, is very unclear,” Ocasio-Cortez whined.
