Attorneys representing Hunter Biden are preparing to file a lawsuit against Fox News, accusing the network of defamation for publishing and broadcasting images that he deems defamatory. The impending legal action revolves around sexually explicit images that have been circulating online for several years, allegedly originating from President Joe Biden’s son’s former laptop. According to reports, the laptop was left at a computer repair shop in Delaware in 2019 and subsequently came into the possession of the store owner, John Paul Mac Issac.
The New York Post first reported on this story in October 2020. Mac Issac claims to have made a copy of the laptop’s hard drive before it was seized by the FBI in 2019, and he expressed concern over its contents. CNN recently revealed that Hunter Biden plans to sue Fox News as part of his strategy to publicly combat conservative media.
In letters sent to Fox News and Fox Corporation, Hunter Biden’s legal team referred to the explicit images as “hacked” and compared the publication of blurred versions of these images to violating “revenge porn” laws.
“FOX knows that these private and confidential images were hacked, stolen, and/or manipulated digital material,” the letter stated.
CNN reported, “[Hunter Biden is] seeking corrections and retractions on air and in online articles to claims that President Biden and his son engaged in a bribery scheme abroad.
“Hunter Biden’s legal team has undertaken an aggressive legal and public relations strategy for several months. His lawyers have fired off letters demanding investigations into Hunter Biden’s opponents and filed a series of lawsuits against his detractors.”

Furthermore, the lawyers are requesting Fox News to retract any coverage regarding Alexander Smirnov, a former FBI source who has been accused by the Justice Department of allegedly providing false information to federal agents.
