Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, has been selected by the Florida Republican Party to represent them as a delegate at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This decision was reported by Politico, which also mentioned that other notable individuals included in the list of delegates are Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr., former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, and former Fox News commentator Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Additionally, Tiffany Boulos, Trump’s daughter, and her husband, Michael Boulos, will also be serving as at-large delegates for the Florida Republican Party. It is worth noting that Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, who played significant roles in Trump’s campaign and administration, have chosen to step away from the public eye and have stated that they will not return to the White House if Trump is reelected.
“We are fortunate to have a great group of grassroots leaders, elected officials, and members of the Trump family working together as part of the Florida delegation to the 2024 Republican National Convention,” Evan Power, the Chairman of the Florida Republican Party said in a statement.
According to FiveThirtyEight, President Joe Biden is trailing behind Trump in Florida with 36.8 percent, while Trump is leading with 46.6 percent as of May 8. Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over Trump’s business records trial, granted him permission to take May 17 off to attend Barron Trump’s high school graduation.
Reportedly, Barron Trump, who recently turned 18 in March, has expressed political ambitions, as per a source cited by the DailyMail.
“Barron is handsome, tall – taller even than his father – and very knowledgeable for someone his age,” the source told the outlet. “He’s also far more politically interested than people realize.”
