Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a former Democrat now running as an Independent for the presidency, publicly endorsed President Donald Trump on Friday. He criticized his previous party for the undemocratic process that led to Kamala Harris being selected as its nominee.

He stated the DNC “installed a candidate who was so unpopular with voters that she dropped out in 2020 without winning a single delegate.”

The party did so after “a sham primary that was rigged to prevent any serious challenge to President Biden,” he said.

The Democrats obstructed Kennedy’s ability to compete fairly within the party and subsequently initiated legal actions in numerous states to remove him from the ballot, thereby contradicting their assertions of conducting a campaign aimed at preserving democracy.

At the DNC, Kennedy said, “instead of showing us her substance and character, the DNC and its media organs engineered a surge of popularity for Vice President Harris. based on — nothing.”
