Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum on Friday admonished former Democratic National Committee (DNC) press secretary Jose Aristimuno for his laughter during a conversation regarding crimes perpetrated by illegal immigrants.
As of July 2024, over 435,000 non-citizens had been convicted of crimes in the United States, as stated in a letter from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. When MacCallum raised this topic on “The Story with Martha MacCallum,” Aristimuno attributed the issue to former President Donald Trump, a point that OutKick founder Clay Travis deemed remarkably foolish, which elicited laughter from the former DNC official.
