Former President Donald Trump unveiled “Operation Aurora,” a strategic initiative designed to accelerate the eradication of all criminal networks functioning within the United States, including the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang.

At a rally held in Aurora, Colorado, on Friday, Trump articulated that, if he were to regain the presidency, he would utilize the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to specifically “identify and dismantle” these criminal organizations. He further emphasized in his address that the border would be secured and that the ongoing “invasion” of illegal immigration would be effectively halted.

“In honor of Jocelyn Nungaray, Laken Riley — beautiful Laken — Rachel Morin, and all of the others that are dead, and/or mortally wounded at the hands of migrants who should never have been allowed into our country, I’m announcing today, that upon taking office, we will have an Operation Aurora at the federal level to expedite the removals of these savage gangs,” Trump announced. “And, I will invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 — think of that, 1798, this was put there 1798, that’s a long time ago.”

Trump stated that in accordance with the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, efforts would be made to identify and dismantle “every migrant criminal network operating on American soil.”
