President Joe Biden is causing a stir with his recent comments regarding his conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Following his State of the Union address, Biden was inadvertently recorded discussing Israel’s conflict with Hamas.
“I told him, Bibi, and don’t repeat this, but you and I are going to have a ‘come to Jesus’ meeting,” the president said.
He added, “I’m on a hot mic here. Good. That’s good.”

Numerous analysts pointed out Netanyahu’s Jewish background and ridiculed Biden for his choice of words:
Telling Jews to come to Jesus is A+ diplomacy. https://t.co/raHHjyo75f

Just imagine if George W. Bush were to tell the Israeli leader that they were going to have a "come to Jesus' meeting"? It would be all over the media, comedy, etc. The double standard is alive and strong. https://t.co/HAUusLSRAk
