Twitter/X CEO Elon Musk has voiced his support for the Second Amendment, emphasizing the importance of an armed populace for maintaining the nation’s freedom.
Musk’s statement was in response to a tweet from the widely-followed X account “End Wokeness,” which highlighted recent events that underscore the significance of gun ownership.
The original tweet from End Wokeness asserted that various incidents over the past few years have essentially served as a continuous advertisement for the Second Amendment. It then outlined recent events that have prompted individuals to consider arming themselves.

This isn’t Musk’s initial declaration of support for the Second Amendment. Last month, as reported by Slay News, he posted a video of himself firing a firearm on social media and mentioned his possession of “an arsenal of weapons.” The video rapidly gained immense popularity, amassing millions of views within hours.
“I have an arsenal of weapons, most of which I bought in California before they changed the law to make it impossible to do so,” Musk posted.
“I’ve hip-fired a 50 cal while walking.
“Might have the video somewhere.”
Elon just needs a horse and he will have converted fully from California to Texan. 🔥🔥🔥🚀 https://t.co/lk2h1H63cJ

Musk then followed up with the video he mentioned.
“Hip-firing my Barrett 50 cal,” Musk wrote on X when sharing the video that features slow-motion footage of him shooting the weapon.
The slow-motion footage is followed by a brief segment that appears to play at regular speed as Musk fires off a few more rounds.
