“She’s a JOKE!”
Former Democratic Representative Peter Deutsch of Florida expressed his support for former President Donald Trump on Monday, attributing his decision to discontent with President Joe Biden’s handling of international conflicts.
Deutsch, who represented Florida’s 20th Congressional District for six terms from 1993 to 2005, made his endorsement during a campaign call marking the anniversary of the Hamas attacks on Israel, as reported by The Hill. He criticized the Biden administration for what he views as insufficient leadership in tackling global crises, especially those that impact international peace.
“I feel very comfortable today publicly announcing that I’m endorsing Donald Trump to be reelected as president,” Deutsch said, The Hill reported. “Driving force for me to make this decision is what I believe is the most important factor in being president, which is really world peace.”

“And I think that Kamala Harris and the Harris-Biden administration in terms of what they have done and are doing … make the world a dramatically less safe place,” Deutsch added.
The Trump campaign took the opportunity to criticize President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for what they perceive as a lackluster approach to Iran, a recognized supporter of Hamas. They also accused the administration of not providing adequate support to Israel amid its ongoing conflict with the Palestinian militant organization, as reported by the outlet. Republican Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa further condemned Biden and Harris’s Middle East policy on the anniversary of Hamas’s invasion of Israel on October 7, labeling it as “catastrophic.” She linked the current regional turmoil to their decisions, which include criticizing Israel, removing the Houthis from the list of terrorist organizations, and showing leniency towards Iran.
On Friday, U.S. and British forces executed airstrikes targeting more than a dozen Houthi positions in Yemen, following the group’s threats of escalated military actions and a recent incident involving the downing of a U.S. drone, according to officials from The Associated Press. The Houthis, notorious for their disruptive activities in the Middle East, have recently ramped up their operations, including assaults on Israel and threats to shipping routes in the Red Sea.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre seems to have been found misleading regarding the allocation of FEMA resources for migrants, as Americans affected by Hurricane Helene strive to recover from the disaster.
In a recent press briefing, Jean-Pierre reportedly refuted claims that the agency’s resources were being utilized to assist migrants, as reported by Fox News on Sunday.
When a reporter said, “Former President Trump is accusing the Biden administration of using FEMA funding to support undocumented migrants. How is the White House responding?”
Jean-Pierre answered, “It’s just categorically false. It is not true, it is a false statement. The fact of the matter is the Washington Post fact-checker did a piece, and the headline, recently, just moments ago or not too long ago, and the headline was, ‘No, Biden did not take FEMA relief money to use on migrants but Trump did.’ I’ll leave it there”:
On September 16, 2022, during a press conference, Jean-Pierre was inquired about the White House’s intentions regarding the reimbursement of cities that experienced the arrival of migrants transported to their locations.
She replied, “FEMA regional administrators have been meeting with city officials on site to coordinate available federal support from FEMA and other federal agencies.”
“Funding is also available through FEMA’s emergency food and shelter program to eligible local governments and not for profit organizations upon request to support humanitarian relief for migrants,” she added.

“How ANYONE thinks this woman is intelligent is beyond me.”
CNN host Dana Bash made efforts to clarify statements made by Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump on Sunday, following her remarks regarding the inadequate federal assistance provided to victims of Hurricane Helene.
In the wake of over 200 reported fatalities from Hurricane Helene, the Biden administration’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has encountered considerable criticism after Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas indicated that the agency does not possess enough funds to sustain operations throughout the hurricane season. During the “State of the Union” program, Lara Trump voiced her concerns for those impacted by the disaster while Bash pressed her on former President Donald Trump’s assertion that FEMA was “only offering $750” to Americans and that the Biden administration was reallocating aid to undocumented immigrants.
“I’m incredibly concerned, in North Carolina, I hear every day from people on the ground there, and they are desperate for help. It is a dire situation there. I actually think we don’t even know the extent yet of truly how bad it is there. And look, Kamala Harris did come out and say it‘s $750 per family right now, the idea that we’ve spent $650 million in fiscal year 24 on the migrant crisis that Kamala Harris was responsible for stopping — by all accounts, she created — by having an open-door policy at our southern border,” Lara Trump said.
“But Laura, let me just stop you right there,” Bash jumped in. “Let me just stop you right there because I just want to not let this get out there. You are right that FEMA is giving $750, but that is a first step. It’s for immediate needs, it’s called the serious needs assist.”
Lara Trump expressed her disapproval of Mayorkas’s recent assertion that FEMA is experiencing a shortage of funds for hurricane relief, raising concerns about the current administration’s dependence on assistance from “local citizens.”
“Well Alejandro Mayorkas came out, Dana, and said they are out of money in terms of their hurricane relief. We have another hurricane heading towards Florida right now,” Lara Trump pushed back. “Why is this government inept right now? Why don’t they have anything in order? Why is it that right now the citizens in western North Carolina are screaming for help, and it’s having to come from local citizens.”

Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) stated during this week’s broadcast of Fox News Sunday that providing undocumented immigrants in Minnesota with access to driver’s licenses, free tuition, and healthcare has contributed to safer road conditions.
Host Shannon Bream said, “The Wall Street Journal says this after you were chosen to join the ticket: ‘As the Democratic Governor of Minnesota Tim Walz signed into law initiatives allowing immigrants in the country illegally to apply for drivers licenses, qualify for free tuition at state universities, and enroll in the state’s free healthcare program for low-income residents.’ Are those not magnets that draw people here, many times on dangerous journeys for themselves, and why should your taxpayers in Minnesota or across the States pay for those programs?”
Walz said, “That’s not the vice president’s position but I will say this: Minnesota ranks as a top five business state, we rank as a top three state for children living, and we are the top state for healthcare access. I would also add this, we have some of the safest roads. The vice president has made it clear she has policies that make a difference. Her border policies are the most strongest and fairest we have seen.”

“Kamala!!! You’re fired!!”
President Joe Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), enacted in 2021, allocated tens of billions of taxpayer dollars for the expansion of broadband internet access. However, more than three years later, no projects have commenced.
The $1.2 trillion legislation designated over $42 billion specifically for internet access in underserved, predominantly rural regions. Biden has likened this initiative to the transformative impact of Roosevelt’s efforts to provide electricity. Despite this ambitious vision, not a single project funded by the law has begun, with federal subsidies anticipated to reach these projects only by 2025. This delay is primarily attributed to various regulatory challenges, including mandates for internet service providers to engage in environmentally sustainable practices and to hire unionized labor.
“In 2021, Kamala Harris became the ‘Broadband Czar’,” Republican South Dakota Sen. John Thune wrote in a post on X on Sep. 24. “Three years and $42 billion later, not one person has been connected to the internet under the BEAD [Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment] program.”
It’s been nearly three years since the BEAD program was established – and in all of that time the program has not connected a single household to the internet. “Broadband Czar” Harris’s tenure has been nothing short of a disaster. pic.twitter.com/3qmehkvIM5
— Senator John Thune (@SenJohnThune) September 24, 2024
A significant challenge arises from the necessity for applicants to prove that the internet plans they offer, utilizing federally subsidized infrastructure, will be affordable for Americans whose household incomes are at or below 200% of the poverty line. For instance, Virginia’s application process extended beyond 10 months due to a disagreement between state and federal authorities regarding a price cap for low-cost plans.
The speed of implementation by the White House has faced criticism from Republican lawmakers, leading the House Energy and Commerce Committee to initiate an investigation into the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s management of the initiative. Furthermore, the broadband expansion program has been likened to the Biden-Harris administration’s electric vehicle (EV) charger expansion initiative, which, as of April 2024, had only established seven stations despite the allocation of $7.5 billion from the November 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
The delays in the EV charger expansion program were partly attributed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) requirements, with the Department of Transportation indicating that applicants must commit to engaging in “intentional outreach to underserved communities” by organizing “neighborhood block parties.”
“The Biden Admin has been layering a partisan political agenda on top of this $42.45B program — a liberal wish list that has nothing to do with connecting Americans,” Brendan Carr, the former head of the Federal Communications Commission wrote in a June X post. “Climate change mandates, tech biases, DEI requirements, favoring government-run networks + more.”
