A video clip from an Al Jazeera interview is circulating online, showcasing an incident where a reporter terminated the broadcast from a Gaza hospital when the patient began expressing unwelcome statements.
The network’s correspondent was providing coverage from a Gaza hospital, conducting a live interview with an injured Palestinian man.
During the live broadcast, the reporter seemingly ends the interview abruptly when the Palestinian man starts criticizing the presence of HANNAT terrorists in the hospital complex.
The Al Jazeera reporter was situated at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza. The elderly Palestinian man informed the reporter that terrorists were concealing themselves among the injured individuals in the hospital.
“What’s happening is criminal!
“Why is the resistance hiding among us?
“Why don’t they go to hell and hide there?
“They are not resistance!”
In the video clip, the reporter, whose identity remains unclear, abruptly shifts away from his interview subject and swiftly changes the topic.
Despite the man’s attempts to continue speaking and follow the journalist as he walks away, the reporter disregards him and declines to pursue the interview further.

A recent column by David Von Drehle, the deputy opinion editor at The Washington Post, expresses his endorsement for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a presidential candidate in 2024. Von Drehle argues that Johnson stands out as the most suitable nominee for the presidency.
“For four years, I have been saying to anyone who will listen — not many people, I must admit — that America has a sure and happy pathway out of the doom loop of Biden vs. Trump, Trump vs. Biden, seemingly for the rest of eternity,” Von Drehle writes.
“Johnson is that pathway.
“A man bigger than the Super Bowl is exactly what we need to break the cycle of despair.”
However, Von Drehle insists that he’s serious about his presidential pick.
“Many people I’ve tried this on think I am joking, because Dwayne Johnson is a movie star, among other things — and movie stars can’t be elected. Except by perhaps the largest electoral college margin since George Washington. (Looking at you, Ronald Reagan, who in 1984 won all the states but one.),” he explains.
Von Drehle presented Johnson as a remedy for voters who “detest Trump” and “many Democrats” who “disdain their incumbent, Joe Biden.” The left-leaning journalist emphasized, “The solution is a unity campaign starring the gentle giant.”
“I’m not joking,” reiterated the Washington Post columnist. “Admittedly, Johnson’s biography is not typical of presidential hopefuls, but in a nation sick of political dysfunction, that might be a feature, not a bug.”
He observed that, as a candidate, Johnson aligns well with the “post-Trump era,” where personal celebrity and the ability to command attention hold more significance than a traditional résumé or party endorsement.
Engaging in a direct comparison of the “Fast and Furious” star with both former and current presidents, he continued:
“Johnson is all the things Trump pretends to be: physically impressive, personally tough, widely liked.
“And unlike Biden, he has accomplished things other than running for office.”
Von Drehle further expressed admiration, lauding The Rock as “handsome” and possessing a physique akin to a “cartoon superhero.” He also commended his strong work ethic and innate charisma.
“His jump to Hollywood was as natural as organic shampoo; there, he quickly picked up where Arnold Schwarzenegger left off, mixing action films — including the insanely popular ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise — with gentler roles, such as the ‘Jumanji’ sequels and Disney’s ‘Moana,’” he writes.
“He also co-founded an array of successful businesses: ZOA energy supplements for the fitness market; an XFL football franchise; a popular tequila brand; a film-production company; and so on.
“Forbes estimated his income was $270 million in 2022 — well on his way to becoming the self-made billionaire Trump pretends to be.”
While Von Drehle asserted his lack of knowledge about The Rock’s specific political views, mentioning only his registration as an independent, he confidently affirmed that The Rock possesses sound political instincts and experience.
“His charitable work with at-risk youth puts him in touch with issues that animate many Democrats, as does his personal story of second and third chances after his youthful brushes with the law,” he writes.
“On the other hand, when he discusses the keys to his own success — hard work, discipline, risk-taking — he speaks the language of many traditional Republicans.”
Von Drehle contends that The Rock’s absence of national security expertise can be compensated by his unparalleled global popularity. He pointed to Johnson’s films, which generated $1.3 billion in China, suggesting that this could enhance U.S.-China relations. Concluding his endorsement of Johnson, Von Drehle highlighted the actor’s amiable personality.
“What I do know is that Johnson is a boss who asks at business meetings, ‘How do we deliver joy?’ Who says, ‘It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice,’ he writes.
“A man who says he can’t run for president this year because he wants to be a good father… American politics is sleepwalking toward disaster.
“Dwayne Johnson is the man to wake us up.”

Controversial Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), known for her radical anti-Semitic views, has reportedly been identified as a member of a secret Facebook group named “Palestinian American Congress.” This group, not visible on the platform’s search engine and accessible only to its members, has been found to celebrate and “glamorize” Hamas terrorists and their recent attacks on Israelis.
An investigative report by Fox News reveals that the group, founded by Maher Abdel-qader, who has strong connections to Tlaib, has been actively commemorating the horrific Islamic terror attacks that claimed the lives of hundreds of innocent Israelis last month. Abdel-qader has been previously linked to other liberal politicians and faced criticism for anti-Semitic social media posts, including questioning the occurrence of the Holocaust.
Within the Palestinian American Congress group, Hamas terrorists are referred to as the “Palestinian armed resistance,” and members use terms like the “glorious dead” to describe terrorists killed during attacks. Posts in the wake of the October 7 attack on Israel express support for Hamas and feature disturbing content. For instance, on October 12, a member posted a message accompanied by an image depicting an elderly Israeli woman being held captive by a Hamas terrorist, stating, “We don’t want to throw you in the sea…we want you to ride it back from where you came.”
On October 19, another group member highlighted what they referred to as the “achievements” of the “resistance in Northern occupied Palestine,” including the killing of dozens of Israeli soldiers, accompanied by a picture of a Hamas terrorist.
“Since yesterday I have been attached to the TV watching the news,” one group member posted on October 10, addressing the “American Media.”
“You, and the people directing you, are the problem, you created it almost 100 years ago, made it official 75 years ago and you have been feeding its flam ever since,” the post continued.
“You consider Hamas a terrorist organization and I am not going to argue with you at the same time you have been broadcasting that they have been killing women and children, guess that is what terrorists do at the same time no mention to the killing of Palestinian women, children, and entire families killed on a daily basses (sic) by the [peace-loving] state of Israel using American gifts of weapons and jet fighters.”
“Yesterday I didn’t see Hamas I saw the grand kids (sic) of the refugees that ethnically cleansed from their homeland attacking the grand kids (sic) of the colonists whom sent them to diaspora,” they later wrote.
Various members of the group have shared pro-Hamas messages and images earlier this year, preceding the recent attacks.
Fox reports that Tlaib joined the group six years ago and actively posted during her 2018 congressional campaign. In the following year, a Daily Caller report revealed her membership and exposed numerous anti-Semitic posts within the group, sparking criticism.
As the sole Palestinian American in Congress, Tlaib has faced scrutiny for her comments following Hamas’s invasion and the subsequent conflict. Recently, the House of Representatives voted 234-188 to censure her, expressing formal disapproval of her latest anti-Israel remarks made in the aftermath of the nation’s battle against the terror group.
Tlaib has a significant history with Abdel-qader, the founder of the Palestinian American Congress group. Despite his past controversial statements, including sharing a video that referred to Jews as “Satanic” and questioning the Holocaust, he has been involved in fundraising events with Tlaib, having personally donated at least $6,500 to her campaign since 2018. Abdel-qader also served as the chairman of her finance committee during her 2018 congressional campaign.
Abdel-qader, a Palestinian activist, has organized a Chicago fundraiser for Tlaib and Pennsylvania Democrat Rep. Summer Lee, touting their strong support for their community and the “just cause of Palestine.”
Since Israel’s counterattack against Hamas, Abdel-qader has participated in pro-Hamas protests in the U.S. and shared anti-Israel messages on his Facebook page. For instance, on October 19, he posted:
“Israeli Nazis air strike (sic) on Ahli Arab Hospital killed more than 500 people stop the massacre now.”
Contrary to claims, a failed rocket launch by Hamas terrorists was responsible for striking the hospital. Despite evidence proving otherwise, Tlaib and others continued to propagate the falsehood that Israelis were behind the attack.
In addition to Tlaib, Abdel-qader has expressed support for various progressive politicians, including fellow “Squad” member Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO). Bush participated in a virtual Zoom fundraiser with Abdel-qader in September 2021, as per his now-locked Instagram account. In November of that year, Abdel-qader posted a fundraising flier for Bush’s reception, organized by the St. Louis Palestine Solidarity Committee and the Muslim Community of St. Louis, seeking donations between $100 and $2,500 for her campaign. It appears he donated $250 to her campaign for the event.
The controversial activist has also campaigned with several other Democrats, including New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, among others.
And this is supposed to be the Democrats’ secret weapon for 2024?

A group of House Republicans, including eight members who crossed party lines, joined Democrats in preventing the advancement of a resolution seeking to impeach Democratic President Joe Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas. The articles of impeachment were introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
In a vote on Monday, the resolution was referred to committee, as eight Republicans sided with Democrats in a total vote tally of 209-201 in favor of the referral. The bipartisan support from these eight GOP lawmakers played a decisive role in the outcome.
On one side, 201 Democrats and the eight aforementioned Republicans voted to refer the resolution, while 201 Republicans opposed the move. Notably, 23 lawmakers, comprising 12 Democrats and 11 Republicans, did not vote on the resolution.

In a video statement shared on Twitter/X, Greene noted that among the eight Republicans who sided with Democrats in the vote, four serve on the House Judiciary Committee. She expressed frustration, stating that her articles of impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas had been stagnant in the committee for months, accumulating dust without any progress.
Greene mentioned that, following the vote, her resolution would go back to the committee, where she anticipates it will once again remain inactive and collect dust.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-TX) remarked:
“I am appalled by tonight’s decision to refer a motion to impeach Department of Homeland Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to committee.
“This House leadership ploy kills any chance of impeaching Secretary Mayorkas.”
“I am disappointed in tonight’s results but will continue to fight for the American people and ensure America’s sovereignty remains intact,” Biggs added.
“DHS Secretary Mayorkas has intentionally failed to secure the border for nearly THREE YEARS,” Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) tweeted.
“He deserves to be FIRED.
“Yet tonight, 8 Republicans voted with Democrats to kill @RepMTG’s resolution to impeach Mayorkas.”

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled in favor of former President Donald Trump’s administration over President Joe Biden’s administration in a case concerning steel tariffs. USP Holdings had appealed, arguing that the Trump administration’s imposition of tariffs was improper, but lower courts rejected the claim. The Biden administration, while acknowledging the tariffs’ potential harm to steel importers, maintained them to avoid economic and political repercussions, citing concerns about layoffs and plant closures in states like Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Former President Trump justified the tariffs under Section 232 of the Trade Act of 1962, allowing restrictions on the importation of goods essential to national security. The move aimed to boost domestic production of critical items like airplanes, ships, and military materials using U.S. steel. The policy created tensions with some U.S. allies, although certain countries were exempted.
In the specific case of USP Holdings Inc. v. United States, the Supreme Court declined the petition without providing a detailed explanation, and no justices dissented from the order. The dispute originated from an investigation initiated by then-Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross in April 2017, examining whether steel imports posed a threat to national security.
In addition to the steel tariff case, the Supreme Court is expected to address climate change lawsuits in the current term. The Court may decide whether these cases should be governed by state or federal law. Boyden Gray, a legal expert, outlined in an opinion piece for Fox News that federal courts have struggled to reach a consensus on this matter. He highlighted the Supreme Court’s historical stance that disputes involving air and water pollution crossing state lines should be decided under federal law, preventing states from imposing their environmental agendas on others. Gray pointed out that the Court had previously extended this principle in American Electric Power Co. v. Connecticut, where it ruled that claims related to greenhouse gas emissions should be addressed under federal law, ultimately delegating such matters to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Clean Air Act.
Gray emphasized that progressive states and cities are now attempting to use state law in climate change lawsuits to circumvent the precedent set by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who had previously ruled against allowing such claims in federal court.
Gray wrote:
The 2nd Circuit in 2021 dismissed such claims outright in the City of New York v. Chevron Corp. There, New York City sued a handful of energy companies under state law for damages allegedly caused by climate change. The court concluded that “over a century” of Supreme Court precedent makes clear that federal law necessarily applies to lawsuits relating to air pollution that crosses state lines, which includes greenhouse gas emissions. Following AEP, the Second Circuit dismissed the case.
Three of these cases are now before the Supreme Court—the 3rd Circuit’s decision in Delaware v. BP America Inc., the 9th Circuit’s decision in Chevron Corp. v. San Mateo County, and the 10th Circuit’s decision in Suncor Energy (U.S.A.) Inc. v. Board of County Commissioners of Boulder County. The energy companies in each case have asked the court to intervene and resolve both splits, reaffirming that climate change lawsuits are inherently governed by federal law and therefore belong in federal court.
