Red Alert: Joe Biden Panics, Assembles Impeachment War Room

In response to growing discussions of a possible Republican impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden’s alleged involvement in influence peddling, the White House has assembled a team of legal experts, legislative aides, and communication staff, as reported by NBC News.

Talks of the House initiating an impeachment inquiry have gained traction, particularly after various committee investigations uncovered potential misconduct by then-Vice President Biden related to his son Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.

The White House’s war room, comprising as many as two dozen lawyers, has been in the works for several months within the White House counsel’s office, according to NBC News.

The President’s aides and allies are gearing up for a robust response, characterizing any potential impeachment inquiry as a partisan sham without concrete evidence. “Comparing this to past impeachments isn’t apples to apples or even apples to oranges; it’s apples to elephants,” remarked a White House aide. “Never in modern history has an impeachment been based on no evidence whatsoever.”

Throughout the August recess, White House aides have diligently studied Republican statements and honed their messaging strategy while also forming a response team, a source informed NBC News.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy of California indicated on Sunday that the likelihood of an impeachment inquiry into Biden was increasing, describing it as “a natural step forward” as Congress concludes its summer recess, and House Republicans aim to expand their investigative authority.

In an attempt to make Republicans pay a political price for their actions, Biden’s team has examined the 1998 impeachment of President Bill Clinton to gain insights into mounting an effective defense.

The White House’s war room includes individuals like defense attorney Richard Sauber and Russ Anello, the former staff director of the House Oversight Committee. Additionally, communications expert and presidential campaign veteran Ian Sams and Sharon Yang, the former communications director for the pro-Biden group Building Back Together, will serve as the team’s public face.

Incoming White House counsel Ed Siskel, previously associated with the Obama-era White House counsel’s office, is set to join the team.

Beyond countering Republican actions, the war room aims to enable other administration officials to focus on governance without becoming mired in the details of ongoing investigations, as per a White House aide’s statement to NBC News.

OUTRAGE: Joe Biden Snubs 9/11 Anniversary

Democrat President Joe Biden is set to diverge from tradition by not participating in the 9/11 anniversary ceremonies at the White House or any of the three attack sites. Instead, he will opt for a different itinerary.

On the 22nd anniversary of the attacks, which falls on September 11, President Biden will be traveling to a military base in Alaska, bypassing the customary anniversary events. According to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, the President will commemorate the anniversary of the attacks in a memorial ceremony with military personnel and their families in Alaska.

This decision means that President Biden will not be present at the White House on September 11 because he will be arriving in Alaska following a “climate change” meeting in Vietnam scheduled for September 10.

The White House clarified that the President will return to Alaska after his trip to Hanoi, Vietnam, where he will meet with Vietnamese General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and other leaders to discuss technological innovation and “climate change,” aiming to strengthen bilateral relations.

In place of President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris will participate in a commemoration ceremony at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City, as stated by Jean-Pierre. First Lady Jill Biden will also lay a wreath at the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia.

This choice marks the first time since the attacks that a President has decided not to observe the anniversary at either the White House or any of the three attack sites. There have only been two instances where a President marked the anniversary at the White House rather than at an attack site: former President Barack Obama participated in a moment of silence on the White House lawn before traveling to Maryland’s Fort Meade in 2015, and in 2005, former President George W. Bush took part in a ceremony on the White House lawn.

On all other 9/11 anniversaries, Presidents have visited at least one of the three attack sites in New York City, northern Virginia, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

It’s noteworthy that September 11, 2021, was the date President Biden had set for withdrawing all remaining U.S. troops from Afghanistan. However, his Afghanistan withdrawal efforts encountered significant challenges, culminating in a tragic terrorist attack in August 2021 that claimed the lives of 13 American service members who were protecting the Kabul airport during the chaotic evacuation operations.

BREAKING: Donald Trump Goes NUCLEAR On Hillary Clinton And Joe Biden

President Donald Trump issued a strong cautionary message to Hillary Clinton and President Joe Biden concerning the Democrats’ politically motivated legal actions against him.

Trump delivered this warning during a recent interview with Glenn Beck, the founder of The Blaze.

In the interview, Trump alerted that the Democrats have crossed a significant threshold with their desperate endeavors to undermine him. He emphasized that this action will set a precedent that could come back to haunt them when he returns to the presidency.

Beck questioned Trump, referring to his statements in 2016 about Hillary Clinton: “‘Lock her up.’ And then, when you became president, you said, ‘We don’t do that in America. That’s just not the right thing to do.'”

Beck continued, “That’s what they’re doing.”

He then inquired if Trump regretted not pursuing legal actions against Clinton and if he would consider doing so if he were president again.

Trump responded affirmatively, stating that he would take such actions this time because they have forced his hand, given their actions against him and the Republican Party.

Trump remarked, “Let me provide you with an example. The fact is, you are left with no other option when they are acting against us. I have always held deep respect for the presidency, the office of the president, and the responsibility it entails. I refrained from targeting Biden as harshly as I could have.”

He continued, “However, when I learned that he was seeking to indict me, and it turned out he was behind these efforts, it changed the situation. I’m not sure he’s mentally agile enough for elaborate thought, but he was in the vicinity and probably sanctioned it.”

Trump then reflected, “It’s difficult to imagine he even ponders such matters because he appears to be diminished. Nonetheless, I realized they were trying to bring charges against me, and every one of these accusations leads back to him, including the Bragg case.”

“He placed his top associates in the Manhattan district attorney’s office. They’ve been working closely with Fani Willis. The individual I’ve never met, who accused me of assault, is being controlled by a Democrat operative, and the funding comes from the Democratic Party.”

Trump continued, revealing, “I’ve encountered several lawsuits, all backed by Democrats. But these individuals are deeply disturbed. They’re malevolent. This situation is quite remarkable. We often talk about the public, and it’s clear that the public comprehends what’s unfolding.”

The former president concluded with a statement highlighting the discernment of the public in understanding the underlying motives and intentions of such actions.

Alert: Ron DeSantis Suddenly Pauses Campaign

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, a contender in the 2024 Republican presidential race, indicated on Tuesday that he would “pause” his presidential campaign to address the consequences of Hurricane Idalia in the state.

Speaking to reporters, DeSantis mentioned his prior experience dealing with Hurricane Ian while running for the governorship of Florida in September. He stressed that in such situations, you do what is necessary, without specifying the exact duration of his campaign pause.

During a press conference in Tallahassee, a reporter inquired about DeSantis’ plans regarding his presence in Florida and the campaign trail before the anticipated landfall of Hurricane Idalia on Wednesday.

DeSantis responded, recalling Hurricane Ian: “Well, this is no different. You remember Ian, we were in the midst of a governor campaign.”

“I had all kinds of stuff scheduled, not just in Florida, around the country. You know, we were doing different things and, you know, you do what you need to do. I mean, and so that’s what we’re doing,” he continued. “It’s going to be no different than what we did during Hurricane Ian.”

“I’m hoping this storm is not as catastrophic as Hurricane Ian was, but we’re going to do what we need to do because it’s just something that’s important. But it’s no different than what we’ve done in past iterations of all this stuff,” he added.

DeSantis’ statements suggest that his presidential campaign is temporarily halted as he addresses the impending hurricane. The storm could begin impacting Florida with strong winds as early as late Tuesday and reach the Gulf Coast by Wednesday. This is the first storm to make landfall in Florida during this hurricane season, posing a significant threat to the state, which is still recovering from the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.

Florida has declared a state of emergency in 46 out of its 67 counties.

Earlier this week, DeSantis emphasized the seriousness of the storm’s potential impact and its “life-threatening” nature, setting aside the “political season” for the welfare of the citizens. He underlined the importance of unity in safeguarding lives and livelihoods during such critical moments.

DeSantis’ support for his presidential campaign has notably diminished in recent weeks amid campaign restructuring and challenges.

A newly released Yahoo News/YouGov poll, conducted right before the first GOP presidential debate, revealed that support for DeSantis’ campaign had dropped from 23 percent in July to 12 percent. This marks the first time in the poll’s monitoring of the 2024 GOP race that more Republicans and Republican-leaning voters expressed uncertainty (14 percent) about their candidate preference than expressed support for DeSantis.

While Vivek Ramaswamy saw an increase from 3 percent to 8 percent, trailing DeSantis by 4 points in the poll, former South Carolina GOP Senator Tim Scott garnered 4 percent, followed by former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley with 3 percent.

Former President Trump maintained a commanding lead with 52 percent. His lead over DeSantis, his main competitor, grew from 25 points in July to 40 points. This comes as DeSantis has attempted to restructure his campaign in recent weeks due to difficulties in gaining momentum and mounting expenses.

DeSantis’ campaign downsized its staff by a third last month and changed its campaign manager earlier this month. In GOP primary polls, DeSantis has consistently secured second place but has struggled to narrow the gap with Trump, who maintains a double-digit lead, often exceeding 20 or 30 points in many surveys.

In a head-to-head comparison between DeSantis and Trump in a February Yahoo News/YouGov poll, DeSantis had previously prevailed by a 45 percent to 41 percent margin. However, in the current comparison, Trump leads 60 percent to 23 percent.
