(SNews) – Republican Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has announced that he has filed an “official criminal referral” against Dr. Anthony Fauci for telling an “absolute lie” during testimony before Congress.

During a grilling before the Senate in July 2021, Paul specifically asked Fauci about the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which he led at the time, funding dangerous gain-of-function research.

Dr. Fauci claimed that NIAID wasn’t funding such research and argued that the experiments that the taxpayer-funded agency was conducting were not considered to be gain-of-function.

Fauci even insisted that Paul, a medical doctor, doesn’t “know” what he’s “talking about.”

However, Paul has now uncovered emails from Fauci that show his describing the experiments as gain-of-function, which is illegal in America.

Paul has now forwarded copies of Fauci’s 2020 email exchanges to the Department of Justice as evidence that he lied under oath.

The emails show Fauci confirming that he knew “scientists in Wuhan University are known to have been working on gain-of-function experiments.”

The email Fauci sent to then-Inspector General of the Health and Human Services Department Garrett Grisby, cites a conversation Fauci had with, “highly credible scientists.”

Those scientists “were concerned about the fact that upon viewing the sequences of several isolates of the nCov there were mutations in the virus that would be most unusual to have evolved naturally in the bats and that there was a suspicion that this mutation was intentionally inserted.”

“Upon considerable discussion, some of the scientists felt more strongly about this possibility, but two others felt differently,” Fauci wrote.

“They felt that it was entirely conceivable that this could have evolved naturally even though these mutations have never been seen in a bat virus before.

“The reasons for each side of the argument are too complicated to bother you with,” Fauci added.

Sen. Paul has repeatedly vowed to expose Fauci’s role in a cover-up of the origins of Covid, as Slay News has reported.

Last week Paul also took aim at several virologists who apparently agreed that pursuing evidence concerning a coronavirus lab leak in Wuhan would cause a “sh*t show” of problems with China.

They argued that it was better to dismiss the notion out of hand.

(SNews) – A United States military contractor has been caught targeting an employee for reading a Bible.

The worker reportedly kept the Bible on her desk and read it during breaks.

The contractor, which works with the Army and Air Force, is now backing down after being hit by a legal complaint.

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) explains the dispute developed after a new employee, on duty for only a few months, was targeted by the company “for keeping a Bible on her desk and reading aloud from her Bible during break time.”

The ACLJ didn’t identify the contractor or the worker.

The employee sometimes would answer questions from others, the ACLJ’s report said.

According to the legal nonprofit, the employee’s supervisor “told her she must remove her Bible from her desk and would only be allowed to keep it at work in a locker – out of sight of other employees.”

The worker asked for a meeting with the company’s human resources department.

During the meeting, she was informed that “she must remove her Bible from her desk” and also “must cease reading her Bible aloud in the breakroom – even though other employees were permitted to engage in a host of personal activities in the breakroom, including reading books aloud, playing potentially offensive movies and music out loud, using offensive language, and sharing inappropriate jokes and stories with employees,” the ACLJ said.

A few days later, she was “written up” for discussing her faith.

“In the weeks that followed, our client experienced an increase in negative criticism of her work as well as the removal of her desk where she had previously kept her Bible,” the legal team explained.

“Shortly after being written up, our client’s hours of work were also reduced to eliminate her lunch break and break time – an action that has all the hallmarks of retaliation.”

The problem, for the contractor, is that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 makes it unlawful for an employer “to discriminate against any individual in regard to his or her terms or conditions or privileges of employment.”

That includes treating workers differently because of their religious beliefs.

The standard is that if any employee is allowed to have personal items on their desk, another employee is allowed to have his or her personal items there.

“Further, an employer cannot prohibit an employee from reading religious material in a break area during personal time, especially where other potentially offensive material is permitted,” the ACLJ said.

“Reprimanding an employee on the basis of their religious activities without a showing of undue hardship constitutes religious discrimination,” the report said.

The ACLJ sent a demand letter to the company.

After receiving the legal letter, the contractor reversed course by announcing it would allow the worker to have and read her Bible.

(SNews) – A top environmental official in the Greek government has admitted that the recent wildfires in Greece are the result of arson attacks that were not caused by “climate change,” as the corporate media claims.

Establishment media outlets around the world are filled with apocalyptic-themed news coverage about heatwaves and wildfires.

The majority of the fear-mongering reports claim the fires and hot weather and caused by “climate change.”

However, Greek Climate Change Minister Vassilis Kikilias has just revealed that the majority of the 667 fires that have erupted across the country in recent weeks were found to have been ignited “by human hand.”

According to Sky News, Kikilias told reporters that the people responsible were guilty of “arsons either by criminal negligence or by intention.”

While legacy media outlets have begun to begrudgingly admit that arson is playing a major role in the fires, they continue to claim that supposed “climate change” has made it easier for the fires to spread.

The same outlets frequently use fire red-colored maps to report on heatwaves, while claiming the heat is the result of “climate change,” despite historical temperature data showing nothing out of the ordinary.

However, the Greek newspaper Kathimerini notes that a significant element in the annual problem of wildfires is that “arsonists, who are usually tried for negligence since intent is extremely hard to prove, tend to get away with small sentences, rarely serve any prison time and face no other penalty for the terrible destruction they cause to humans, animals, the environment, etc.”

The Greek climate minister reported that the fires have burnt 400 square kilometers of land during the month of July alone.

This is compared to the recent yearly average of around 500 square kilometers.

While devastating, it should be noted that far more land was burned in previous years, including the recorded high in 2007 when about four times as much land was burned.

It’s also worth noting that wildfires and heatwaves ravaged the Earth long before humans arrived.

“This is not something that will just occur this year,” Kikilias said.

“It will last and we have to face the consequences of what that means.”

Over 20,000 tourists and residents have been evacuated from their homes and hotels in recent days.

It has been estimated that 40 people have died as a direct result of the fires in Greece, Italy, and Algeria this season.

Conditions improved on Friday, however.

Temperatures in the Mediterranean region have been dropping and the wind has been slowing, allowing firefighters to better combat the fires that are still ablaze.

Meanwhile, it is not just Greece where arson has been identified as a cause of fires.

Earlier this week, police drone footage in the southern Italian region of Calabria actually caught a man apparently in the act of trying to start a wildfire.

In response to the issue of arson, which occurs annually during the wildfire season, Calabria Governor Roberto Occhiuto established a specialized task force to combat the scourge of arson, Italy’s Il Giornale reports.

The effort includes the fleet of thirty drones that caught the arsonist this week.

The message was made public by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.) after he was told about it by an IRS whistleblower who had been investigating Hunter Biden over various federal tax violations.

One of the IRS agents, special agent and investigator Gary Shapley, told Smith’s committee that in August 2020, agency investigators found messages from an iCloud search warrant, but prosecutors “denied investigators’ requests to develop a strategy to look into the messages and denied investigators’ suggestion to obtain location information to see where the texts were sent from.”

After the disclosure, President Biden angrily denied he was in the room at the time, shouting back “No!” to a reporter after being asked about the message.

Also, the White House made a subtle yet noticeable change in its narrative regarding prior statements from the president regarding his son’s business dealings.

On the campaign trail in 2019 and 2020, whenever he was asked about his son’s shady deals, Joe Biden would respond forcefully: “I have never discussed, with my son or my brother or with anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses. Period.”

But after the release of the WhatsApp message, the White House changed its tune, claiming now that Joe Biden was “not in business” with Hunter.

“As we have said many times before, the President was not in business with his son. As we have also said many times before, the Justice Department makes decisions in its criminal investigations independently, & in this case, the White House has not been involved,” said a White House spokesperson, as quoted by NBC News’ Monica Alba.

The subtle yet noticeable difference was picked up by Washington Examiner columnist Byron York, who described the turn of phrase as being “very lawyerly.”

“Joe Biden was ‘not in business’ with Hunter? That’s a new formulation from the White House. Very lawyerly,” he tweeted last month as the new scandal swirled.

(SNews) – Hollywood movie mogul Oliver Stone has expressed his deep regret in voting for Democrat President Joe Biden, admitting that he “made a mistake.”

The Oscar-winning film director, producer, and screenwriter made the admission while criticizing the Biden administration’s policies.

Stone, who is celebrated for movies such as “Platoon,” “Born on the Fourth of July,” and “JFK,” spoke about his regrets with Russell Brand during a recent discussion.

“This is a potential World War III,” Stone explained.

“This is the same situation as World War I, in a sense.

“The stupidity of it because of the alliances and the fears and the built-up phobias.

“If we don’t stop this, what Biden is doing.

Today, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced additional security assistance to meet Ukraine’s critical security and defense needs. This authorization is the Biden Administration’s forty-third drawdown of equipment from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021 as the U.S. government has continuously provided Ukraine with the weapons and equipment it needs for the battlefield. Today’s commitment in security assistance, valued at up to $400 million, includes additional air defense munitions, artillery and other ammunition, armored vehicles, anti-armor weapons, and other equipment to help Ukraine counter Russia’s ongoing war of aggression.

The Biden administration is sending up to $400 million in additional military aid to Ukraine, including a variety of munitions for advanced air defense systems and a number of small, surveillance Hornet drones, the Pentagon announced Tuesday, as attacks in the war escalated to include strikes in Moscow and Crimea.

The package includes an array of ammunition — ranging from missiles for the High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) to Stingers and Javelins.

The weapons are being provided through presidential drawdown authority, which allows the Pentagon to quickly take items from its own stocks and deliver them to Ukraine, often within days.

The U.S. is also sending howitzer artillery rounds and 32 Stryker armored vehicles, along with demolition equipment, mortars, Hydra-70 rockets and 28 million rounds of small arms ammunition.

The Hornets are tiny nano-drones that are used largely for intelligence gathering. Ukraine has also gotten them in the past from other Western allies.

Overall the U.S. has provided more than $43 billion in military aid to Ukraine since Russia invaded in February 2022.

The latest package of weapons comes as a Ukrainian drone struck an ammunition depot in Russian-annexed Crimea and Russia accused Ukraine of launching a drone attack on Moscow.

Russian media reported that one of the drones fell near the city center, not far from the towering Defense Ministry building.
