Just In: AOC Just TURNED On The left

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who identifies as a far-left “democratic socialist,” criticized the Green Party, labeling it as “not serious” and questioning whether it serves merely as a “spoiler” for the Democratic Party.

In a video that went viral over the weekend, Ocasio-Cortez addressed a user-submitted question on Instagram: “How do I tell my friends who are Jill Stein voters they are wasting their time and effort?”

“Y’all, this is a little spicy, but I have thoughts,” Ocasio-Cortez said before beginning her critique of the perennial third-party presidential candidate. “Trust me, I’ve been on record about my criticisms of the two-party system, so this is not about that,” referencing her own New York City candidacy representing both the Democratic Party and the Working Families Party (WFP) and her endorsements of WFP and Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) candidates.

“What I have a problem with is the fact that if you’re running for president, you are the de facto leader of your party,” she said, “and if you run for years and years and years and years in a row, and your party has not grown and you don’t add city council seats and you don’t add down ballot candidates and you don’t add state electeds, that’s bad leadership. That, to me, is what is upsetting.”

“If all you do is show up once every four years to speak to people who are justifiably pissed off, but you’re just showing up once every four years to do that, you’re not serious. To me, it does not read as authentic. It reads as predatory,” she added.

The Green Party, recognized for its environmental advocacy and opposition to war, currently boasts approximately 244,000 registered members across the nation, a decline from its highest membership of 319,000 in 2004. Although the party has fielded presidential candidates in every election since 1996, it has yet to achieve victory in federal elections or exceed 2.7% of the popular vote. Ralph Nader’s campaign in 2000, which garnered this percentage, faced significant criticism for being a “spoiler” in the closely contested election that was ultimately won by Republican George W. Bush, as reported by Time.

Jill Stein, the Green Party’s candidate for the 2024 election, who previously ran in 2012 and 2016, issued a pointed response to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez—whom she labeled “AOC-Pelosi” to underscore Ocasio-Cortez’s transition from an outsider to a prominent figure within the Democratic Party—in a video shared on social media on Tuesday.

Watch: Heartfelt Trump Moment Caught On Tape

Should 8-year-old Liam have the opportunity to cast a vote for president, it appears he would choose to support Donald Trump. Liam, who has held admiration for Trump throughout his life, had the chance to meet him at a rally in New York on Wednesday, as reported by Fox News.

The series of events leading to Liam’s meeting with Trump, who has a rare brain disorder, began when the boy received a birthday letter from Trump. His response to this gesture gained widespread attention.

“It’s a pipe dream, I can never imagine, to thank the world for helping my son come this far and showing support and making his dream come true, because, believe it or not, this is definitely probably one of his big dreams, to meet Donald Trump, his hero since he was probably born. If not, very close,” Liam’s dad said.

Siobhan, his mother, conveyed that the doctors informed the family that Liam may never be able to walk, speak, or eat independently.

“My buddy here plays ice hockey, he does roller hockey, he does very good in school, plays sports…we’re so proud of him,” she said in an interview before Trump’s rally at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale.

The location of the event is in proximity to the family’s residence in Long Island. Liam’s mother stated that he has been a supporter of Trump since he was just 18 months old. Subsequently, Liam’s family received an invitation to the rally as VIP guests, where they were seated three rows from the stage. The experience was further enhanced when Liam had the opportunity to meet Trump.

“I’m supposed to be on that stage, but that doesn’t matter because I got you the best present,” Trump said to Liam in a video of a private meeting before the rally. “This is the best present you’ll ever have.”

Trump then gave Liam a box and said, “in there is real good stuff.”

Watch: GOP Congresswoman HUMILATES CNN Host During Live Hearing

On Thursday, during a congressional hearing, Republican Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina submitted what appeared to be flirtatious text messages into the official record. She asserted that these messages were sent to her by CNN panelist Michael Eric Dyson, who had previously criticized her on air.

In a segment of “CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip” aired on August 15, Dyson, a professor at Vanderbilt University, harshly criticized Mace for her mispronunciation of Vice President Kamala Harris’s first name. During the House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing on Thursday, Mace responded to the Democrats’ outrage regarding the mispronunciation, pointing out that several members of their party had also been reported to have made similar errors.

“My colleagues across the aisle said that those that can not pronounce Kamala’s name correctly are elementary aged children. I would like to enter into the record an article by Newsweek saying Bill Clinton pronounces Kamala Harris name wrong during [his] DNC speech,” Mace said.

“Bill Clinton along with Al Sharpton, rapper Lil John — let’s not forget that Joe Biden can’t say her name right, neither can Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor,” Mace continued. “And this morning on ‘Morning Joe,’ Joan Baez called her a camel. So I don’t want to hear it. It’s fake outrage.”

The legislator proceeded to display purported screenshots of text messages she received from Dyson, in which he referred to her as “gorgeous” following his accusation that she echoed white supremacist rhetoric.

Breaking: California BANS Memes…

On Tuesday, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) enacted two pieces of legislation designed to prohibit the use of “deepfakes”—digitally altered videos or images—of political candidates in the lead-up to elections, as well as to ban digital “disinformation” during electoral periods.

This contentious legislation has been viewed as a direct reaction to Elon Musk, the owner of X, who disseminated a deepfake parody featuring Vice President Kamala Harris, which merged authentic quotes with a convincingly fabricated voiceover of Harris.

The two bills, designated AB 2655 and AB 2839, are interconnected. The first bill mandates that “large online platforms” must “prevent the posting of materially deceptive content related to elections in California during specified timeframes before and after an election.”

Additionally, it prohibits “materially deceptive content,” which is characterized as “audio or visual media that is digitally created or altered, including, but not limited to, deepfakes.” This definition could, in theory, encompass a wide array of political discourse—such as Kamala Harris’s inaccurate assertions that former President Donald Trump once lauded neo-Nazis, a claim often referred to as the “very fine people hoax.”

The second bill targets deepfakes, which show “[a] candidate for any federal, state, or local elected office in California portrayed as doing or saying something that the candidate did not do or say if the content is reasonably likely to harm the reputation or electoral prospects of a candidate.”

Exceptions exist for satire, parody, and news reporting, provided that the “deepfake” is accompanied by a disclaimer.

SHCOK: Nancy Pelosi Goes After Trump Following Failed Attack

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi criticized former President Donald Trump with harsh rhetoric following what seems to have been a failed assassination attempt against him.

During her address at the Cap Times Idea Fest in Wisconsin, Pelosi emphasized the importance of the swing state in safeguarding the future of democracy. She asserted to the audience that defeating Trump is essential for the restoration of American democracy and for reclaiming a Republican Party that she believes has been taken over.

“He projects. He says ‘crazy Nancy’ — he is crazy,” Pelosi said. “He says ‘crooked Hillary’ — he’s crooked. Every adjective he uses is really about himself. So when he says people are eating cats and dogs, I’m just wondering about him.”

“For the good of our country, it is absolutely essential that (House Minority Leader) Hakeem Jeffries has the gavel (as speaker) … when Congress votes to accept the results of the Electoral College,” Pelosi added.

“So much is at stake,” she said. “This isn’t an election we would have against George W. Bush or Mitt Romney or Bob Dole or John McCain: We have an election, we have an outcome and we go to work. … This is a different election.”
