Democratic strategist Jessica Tarlov asserted on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump referred to Jewish individuals as if they were “in boxes,” following a comment from another panelist regarding Trump’s efforts to engage black and Hispanic voters in the 2024 election.
In response to Trump’s rising support among black men, Vice President Kamala Harris has intensified her outreach to this demographic. Tarlov expressed her irritation when podcast host Rob Smith suggested that Trump was not conducting an “identity-based” campaign, leading her to argue that the former president employed comparable strategies with Jewish voters.
“They don’t like him, he has had a historic gender gap,” Tarlov claimed, referring to women voters. “I mean, Republicans typically don’t do as well with women, this is beyond anything we’ve seen before and – you say he doesn’t talk to people like they’re in boxes, roll the tape of him talking to Jews and how he says it’s going to be your fault if I lose. Creating a dual loyalty issue for us, if you support Israel you can’t possibly vote for the Democrats, calling Doug Emhoff a ‘crappy Jew?’”

Former President Donald Trump expressed his disapproval of Bloomberg’s editor-in-chief, John Micklethwait, on Tuesday following Micklethwait’s claim that Trump’s proposed policies would lead to a significant increase in the national debt of the United States.
According to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB), Trump’s economic proposals could result in a rise in national debt ranging from $1.45 trillion to more than $15 trillion by the year 2035. During a discussion at the Economic Club of Chicago, Micklethwait addressed the criticism surrounding the projected substantial increase in debt associated with Trump’s plans, prompting the former president to question Micklethwait’s credibility.

During the debate on Tuesday night, Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz expressed frustration towards moderator Jason Whitely of WFAA for persistently inquiring about his position on abortion in his matchup against Democratic Texas Representative Colin Allred.
Whitely continued to press Cruz on his personal views regarding abortion. In response, Cruz highlighted the contentious nature of the abortion issue and advocated for addressing it through the electoral process, subsequently questioning the moderator’s rationale for his repeated inquiries.
“Texas has one of the strictest abortion bans in the United States,” Whitely said. “There’s no exception for rape or incest, as you know. In 2021, you co-sponsored a bill in Congress that included those exceptions. But a year later, when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, you said that you agree with the Texas law that has zero exceptions. So tonight, the question is, where do you stand on this? And we’re asking for your personal opinion as a Texan and as a father.”
“Well listen, abortion is an issue many Texans and many Americans care deeply about,” Cruz replied. “And it’s an issue people of good faith can disagree. People are genuinely and deeply pro-life. People are genuinely and deeply pro-choice. And there are all sorts of positions in between. I agree with the United States Supreme Court that under our Constitution, the way we resolve questions like that, questions on which we have real and genuine disagreements, it’s at the ballot box, is voting.”
Whitely subsequently sought to redirect the discussion to the original inquiry following Allred’s opportunity to express his views, urging Cruz to provide a clear answer regarding his position on abortion, specifically concerning exceptions for cases of rape and incest.
In response, Cruz shifted the focus to Allred’s legislative history on matters such as parental rights. This prompted Whitely to inquire, “why is this an issue you won’t address, about saying whether you support or oppose exceptions?”
“Jason, I’m curious,” Cruz retorted. “Why do you keep asking me that?”

Hunter Biden has renewed his legal action against Fox News, alleging that the media organization unlawfully displayed explicit images of him in a streaming series.
The lawsuit was filed in Manhattan state court and reflects claims made in a previously withdrawn filing from July, asserting that the unauthorized dissemination of intimate images violates New York’s revenge porn statute, as reported by The Associated Press (AP). These allegations are related to “The Trial of Hunter Biden,” a Fox Nation series that dramatizes a fictional court case against Hunter, which is separate from the actual felony firearms charges he has faced.
The updated lawsuit names both a current and a former executive of Fox as defendants, according to AP. In response, Fox News has sought to move the case to federal court and has characterized the allegations as unfounded.
“The core complaint stems from a 2022 streaming program that Mr. Biden did not complain about until sending a letter in late April 2024,” the Fox statement said, AP reported. “The program was removed within days of that letter, in an abundance of caution, but Hunter Biden is a public figure who has been the subject of multiple investigations and is now a convicted felon.”
Hunter discontinued his legal action against Fox News shortly after President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the 2024 re-election campaign in July. The lawsuit had taken issue with the series for portraying Hunter as confronting uncharged allegations, including violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and bribery.

“Im sick of Harris and her lies that are never ending!”
SiriusXM’s Megyn Kelly and Blaze Media’s Allie Beth Stuckey criticized MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough on Monday for not challenging Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff regarding the assault allegations against him.
In a report from early October by the Daily Mail, three acquaintances of Emhoff’s unnamed ex-girlfriend alleged that he slapped her during a confrontation fueled by alcohol in 2012. During “The Megyn Kelly Show,” the two political commentators addressed Emhoff’s recent interview with Scarborough, in which he dismissed the allegations as merely “a distraction” after Scarborough remarked that former President Donald Trump was disseminating “tabloid stories” about Emhoff.
“He doesn’t care about women at all. This is the same side that’s trying to tell us that’s why we have to have ‘reproductive freedom.’ That’s why trans women are women because ‘we the Democrats’ are the party of women,” Kelly said.
“Yeah and supposedly that’s one of their biggest gripes with Donald Trump is the allegations against him,” Stuckey responded. “Which, you know, there are a lot of accusations against Donald Trump and I’ve never heard an accusation quite like the one against Doug Emhoff. Which, as you said, is recent and has also been corroborated by eyewitness accounts.”
Beth reiterated Kelly’s sentiments, asserting that the allegations warranted at least one inquiry from Scarborough, and expressed disapproval of the host for minimizing the significance of the accusations.
“So I think that that is worth at least one question. Instead he even preempted the answer by saying, ‘Oh you know these tabloid reports and, you know, very salacious things that Donald Trump is saying.’ Going ahead and getting him off the hook by saying, ‘I know these accusations are false I’m not even going to spell them out,” Stuckey continued.
“I won’t even give him the opportunity to defend himself. I’m just going to say that they’re false.’ That is evil, that is stupid, the arrogance — the ends justify the means completely for these people,” Stuckey added. “They have no right to call themselves journalists.”

Former President Bill Clinton acknowledged during a Harris-Walz event on Sunday that the tragic murder of an American girl could likely have been prevented if the current administration had conducted thorough vetting of migrants crossing the border.
This statement presents a significant challenge for Vice President Kamala Harris. While campaigning for her in Fort Valley, Georgia, Clinton inadvertently highlighted a major weakness in her candidacy: her perceived negligence and ineffectiveness in her role as Joe Biden’s Border Czar. Sporting the Harris-Walz camo hat, the former Democratic president may have inadvertently provided the Trump campaign with one of the most compelling advertisements of the election season.
“You had a case in Georgia not very long ago. They made an ad about a young woman who had been killed by an immigrant,” Clinton said, appearing to reference the murder of 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley. “Yeah, well, if they had all been properly vetted, that probably wouldn’t have happened.”
Watch:
Bill Clinton says Laken Riley's death "probably wouldn't have happened" if Kamala did her job at the border, continues on to imply that we need illegal immigrants for cheap labor.

Clinton proposed that immigrants should undergo thorough vetting to fill positions that Americans are unwilling to take, while also contributing to maintaining high birth rates. It is possible that he recognized a misstep in his comments and swiftly attempted to redirect the conversation to emphasize the positive impact of immigration on the nation. Alternatively, it may be that, contrary to the prevailing views of his party, Clinton perceives open border policies as detrimental to American society, and his inadvertent remark reveals his true sentiments on the matter. Regardless, the repercussions of his statement were significant.
Earlier in October, Biden criticized Harris when he commended Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for his effective management of hurricane preparedness and recovery efforts. Meanwhile, Harris was engaged in a trivial dispute with the governor regarding his supposed unwillingness to communicate with her via phone.
Vice President Kamala Harris introduced a new initiative on Monday that aims to provide forgivable small business loans with a focus on racial equity, as she seeks to enhance her appeal among black male voters.
The Harris campaign launched its “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men,” which aims to offer one million loans of $20,000 each to black entrepreneurs and individuals who have historically encountered obstacles in establishing or expanding their businesses. This policy aligns with the broader objectives of the Biden administration, which seeks to prioritize racial considerations in various significant government programs and initiatives. These include financial assistance to black American farmers who experienced discrimination prior to 2021 and the Justice40 initiative, which mandates that 40% of the benefits from certain environmental expenditures and programs be directed toward “disadvantaged communities.”
“Drawing on insights from her experience throughout her career and her Economic Opportunity Tour, today Vice President Harris is laying out an Opportunity Agenda for Black Men to provide them with the tools to achieve financial freedom, lower costs to better provide for themselves and their families, and protect their rights,” the Harris campaign wrote in its new plan. “This pathbreaking agenda includes: Providing 1 million loans that are fully forgivable to Black entrepreneurs and others to start a business.”
Kamala Harris – Opportunity… by Nick Pope
The Small Business Administration is set to collaborate with “trusted partners on the ground” to facilitate the distribution of business loans to beneficiaries as part of Harris’ new initiative. These forgivable loans aim to support “entrepreneurs with promising ideas who lack the necessary resources, connections, or access to capital to launch their businesses, particularly those in underserved communities.”
These forgivable small business loans represent only one aspect of the newly introduced “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men.” Additional proposals encompass the enhancement of job training programs tailored for black men, the initiation of health initiatives addressing conditions such as sickle cell disease that disproportionately impact black men, and the legalization of recreational marijuana, along with efforts to assist black Americans in benefiting from this industry.
The Harris campaign released this new policy memo following recent polling that revealed the vice president’s challenges in garnering support from black men in her competition against former President Donald Trump. Historically, black voters have been a crucial demographic for the Democratic Party and its candidates; thus, even a slight decline in their support for Harris could significantly jeopardize her electoral chances.
In 2012, former President Barack Obama secured the votes of black men aged 18 to 44 by a remarkable margin of 81 points. In the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton achieved a 63-point advantage in this demographic against Trump, while President Joe Biden won this segment of the electorate by 53 points in 2020. Current data suggests that Harris is currently leading Trump among these voters by approximately 41 points, with just three weeks remaining until Election Day.
