Former President Donald Trump has reached his largest margin in the CNN poll of the American electorate, holding a six-point lead over current Democratic President Joe Biden. Trump is currently at 49 percent, which is six percent higher than Biden’s 43 percent in a direct comparison.

When considering third-party candidates such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Dr. Jill Stein, and Cornel West, Trump’s lead over Biden widens to almost double digits. In this scenario with multiple candidates, Trump stands at 42 percent, Biden at 33 percent, Kennedy at 16 percent, West at four percent, and Stein at three percent.

This results in a nine percent advantage for Trump on a national level, a significant figure that, if accurate, could indicate that the former president is poised for a decisive victory over Biden in the electoral college.
