Republican vice presidential candidate Senator J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) is intensifying his demands for Vice President Kamala Harris to respond to inquiries from the media. On Wednesday, both Vance and Harris found themselves at the airport in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, coinciding in their campaign itineraries.

Noticing Air Force Two, the senator from Ohio took the opportunity to walk across the tarmac, where he expressed his disapproval of the current vice president and the Democratic presidential nominee for evading questions from journalists.

Vance spoke to reporters gathered nearby and said, “I figured I’d come by… and just get a good look at the plane because hopefully it’s going to be my plane in few months.”

“I also thought you guys may get lonely, because the vice president doesn’t answer questions from reporters, and hasn’t for 17 days,” he continued. “Have they given you guys an explanation for why she won’t take questions from reporters? No? Nobody? OK. Great. Well, I hope that she changes her mind because it would be good for the American people.”
