I will always remember the London Olympics opening ceremony from 2012. My family and I initially planned to watch just 10 minutes before going to bed, but we ended up watching the entire three and a half hours. It was a stunning tribute to Great Britain and its rich cultural history.
In contrast, Paris seemed to have missed the mark with their recent opening ceremony, turning into what can only be described as a chaotic mess. The organizers for the 2024 Paris Olympics thought it was a good idea to hire a group of early 2000s emo clowns to reenact The Last Supper, which not only lacked taste but also set France back significantly.

Apparently this opening ceremony at the Paris Olympics was a mocking of “The Last Supper”.
