President Joe Biden on Friday upheld the conviction of former President Donald Trump, asserting that it was “irresponsible” for his silenced political adversary to label it as “rigged.” Trump denounced the trial as a “fraud” and pledged to challenge the verdict of guilt.

Shortly after Trump spoke, Biden specifically tried to gaslight America. “The American principle that no one is above the law was reaffirmed,” Biden claimed. “Donald Trump was given every opportunity to defend himself.”

Biden highlighted that Trump’s legal team selected the jury in Manhattan, despite Trump’s attempt to change the trial’s location. According to New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman, the Manhattan jury pool tended to have a left-leaning political inclination.

“The jury heard five weeks of evidence, five weeks. After careful deliberation, the jury reached a unanimous verdict,” Biden said, speaking slowly. “They found Donald Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts.

“It’s reckless. It’s dangerous. It’s irresponsible for anyone to say this was rigged just because they don’t like the verdict,” Biden continued.
