Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) faced a chorus of boos while attending a college football game featuring the University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota.
A video shared on TikTok captured the moment when fans from the University of Michigan vocally expressed their disapproval of Walz, who is a vice presidential candidate and running mate of Kamala Harris. Among the crowd, one individual was heard exclaiming, “Get that b***h out of here,” as others joined in with their boos.
“Get out of here!” the person yelled.
@mckenzieallen157 VP candidate Tim Waltz pissed off a lot of #uofm fans today. #trump #2024elections #goblue #daveportnoy
Walz’s presence at the game coincides with the scheduled attendance of former President Donald Trump at the college football matchup between the University of Georgia and the University of Alabama.
Walz’s presence at the game in a crucial swing state coincides with a Suffolk/USA Today poll indicating that Trump and Harris are nearly evenly matched, with 48 percent of respondents favoring Harris and 45 percent supporting Trump. Although this reflects a three-point difference, the poll’s margin of error stands at 4.4 percent.
